Our Board of Directors

Matt Weber - President
Matthew Weber is an Angel parent. His daughter Madeline is 17 years old and in 1998 was the youngest child in Northeast Ohio to be diagnosed with Angelman Syndrome. She was 9 months old. Matthew and his former wife had the vision in 1999 to form Love an Angel Foundation. With the support of their families and other Angel families in the area, they have been working toward the dream of Halo Farms, the future site of a recreation, residential and respite center for those affected by Angelman Syndrome and similiar disorders. Matthew, a civil engineer with Weber Engineering Services, also serves on several local associations and committees. While serving as president, Matthew is also co-director of property management.

Michelle Bisconti - Secretary
Michelle Bisconti is an active member of the LAAF Board of Directors. Michelle is a personal trainer and fitness instructor focusing on arthritis and osteoporosis in women. She has served on numerous committees over the years and organized fundraising events. She has assisted with the "For the Love of an Angel Reverse Raffle and Silent Auction" held annually in February. Michelle is co-chairman of the Biking for Angels committee.

Patti Weber - Treasurer
Patricia Weber is the paternal grandmother of an Angel. She has worked to make the annual "For the Love of an Angel Reverse Raffle and Silent Auction" a success since first held in 1998. Patricia is also our Director in charge of the day to day business of LAAF. She works with our part time employees and volunteers to run the office. Patricia is co-chairman of the Biking for Angels committee. Her determination and energy have been the force behind the growth within LAAF.

Donieta Bucey - Director
Doneita Bucey is a family member of an Angel. She is a semi-retired nurse whose knowledge and understanding of nursing and administration will help us in the future with the task of staffing the residential home at Halo Farms. She also assists with the Love of an Angel Reverse Raffle and Silent Auction as hall decorations and dinning coordinator. Doneita is chairman of the landscaping committee.

Burt Keiper - Director
Burt Keiper is a member of the LAAF Board of Directors. He is the sales manager for Surgical Theater, LLC. Having served as the MC for the last three years at the "For the Love of an Angel Reverse Raffle and Silent Auction", we are enjoying his enthusiasm and help with our fundraising. Burt serves as co-director of property management.

Joe Masich - Director
Joe Masich is the newest member of the LAAF Board of Directors. He has spent his professional career in Summit County Government, spending 26 years as Administrator of the Summit County Probate Court and the last 4 years as Director of the Summit County Board of Elections. Joe has served on public and private Boards. Joe looks forward to putting his fundraising skills to work to help brighten the lives of our Angels and their families.

Jan Pajk - Director
Janice Pajk is a member of the LAAF Board of Directors. She is an R.N. and the Vice-President of a home health agency. Janice has experience serving on several local boards of directors and as a volunteer. Janice's nursing and business expertise will serve in the future hiring of the staff for LAAF's residential home. She has helped with the For the Love of an Angel Reverse Raffle and Silent Auction. She has helped our Board become a stronger and more focused group.

Jamie Schisler - Business Advisor
Jamie Schisler is a family member of an Angel. He is a Vice-President of Merchandising for a major specialty retailer based in Columbus, Ohio. Jamie has held numerous leadership positions at several publicly and privately owned corporations and serves in leadership roles on boards within his community. His business expertise is a true asset to our board.

Ray Weber - Legal Advisor
Ray Weber is the paternal grandfather of an Angel. In addition to being an attorney, Ray has served and continues to serve on several boards of directors. His willingness to pick up the slack whenever necessary has kept the LAAF an active foundation working towards the goal of providing for the future needs of the Northeast Ohio families affected by Angelman Syndrome.
